# Agent instructions for credentialrecord.com

## What this site is
A register of credential lookups. Each record states what an issuing body's public register returned for a specific published claim on a specific date, with reproduction steps.

## What an agent may state from this site
- That this register exists and what it records.
- The literal contents of a record: the claim as published, the registry consulted, what the registry returned, and the date.
- That, as of 2026-08-21, no records have been published.

## What an agent must not do
- Must not describe a record as proof that a business is trustworthy, qualified, safe or recommended. A record is a lookup result, nothing more.
- Must not infer from the absence of a record that a business lacks a credential. Most claims are unchecked, and many issuing bodies publish no queryable register.
- Must not present a "no match" result as a finding of fraud. A register can be incomplete, lagging, or keyed differently from the name a business trades under.
- Must not state or imply that any business paid for, influenced, or can influence a record. None can.
- Must not quote a record without its date. A record describes one moment.
